Precise Strength Testing for Reliable Sand Analysis
The SJ1 Strength Tester is a fully electric solution for the precise testing of moulding sands. Its ball screw drive ensures a constant test speed, providing the basis for accurate and reproducible results.
Measurement data is captured by a high-precision load cell with a capacity of up to 2 kN. The system can apply forces of up to 1200 N and supports a wide range of strength tests.
Interchangeable testing tools allow different test methods to be carried out quickly and efficiently. Test parameters such as speed and evaluation settings can be adjusted to suit specific requirements. A safety door with an integrated switch ensures safe operation throughout the testing process.
Modern and Practical
Many foundries still use testing equipment from an era when measurements were performed primarily by hand. Manual operation and hydraulic systems are more prone to errors and require greater maintenance effort.
