Our History and Expertise in Measurement Technology
Jung Instruments GmbH develops precision measurement and testing technology for foundries, steelworks, laboratories, and occupational safety applications. The company was founded in 2010 by Erwin Jung in response to the growing demand for objective, operator-independent testing methods
Our focus is on developing reliable measurement systems that improve process control, increase reproducibility, and support consistent quality assurance. Today, our solutions are used by customers who rely on accurate and dependable testing technology for everyday laboratory and production processes.

Erwin Jung
As founder and Managing Director of Jung Instruments, Erwin Jung brings decades of experience in material analysis and surface measurement technology. His technical expertise and commitment to innovation have shaped the development of precise testing and measurement systems used in industrial applications worldwide.
Together with his team, he supports customers in selecting the right measurement solutions, optimizing testing processes, and ensuring reliable quality control in everyday operations.
Carsten Jung
Carsten Jung, son of founder Erwin Jung, is a qualified mechatronics engineer and leads the development of new measurement and testing systems at Jung Instruments. With extensive technical expertise and practical industry experience, he plays a key role in advancing innovative solutions for foundries, laboratories, and industrial applications.
Since 2018, he has held power of attorney (Prokura) and has been actively involved in shaping the company’s technical development and future direction.
