The VC 25 JI is designed for measuring dust exposure in workplaces, both at fixed locations and directly at the emission source. The device was developed for dust sampling in industrial working environments, such as welding stations, mixers and filling systems. It measures inhalable dust fractions in accordance with IFA 7284 as well as respirable dust fractions in accordance with IFA 6068 and EN 481, using licensed sampling heads for coarse and fine dust.

The VC 25 JI was developed for stationary dust sampling in workplace environments. Unlike mobile systems, the device measures dust exposure directly at the point where it is generated. This enables precise monitoring of dust concentrations in the immediate vicinity of employees or directly at the emission source. It provides a reliable basis for monitoring workplace dust exposure limits and documenting compliance with occupational safety requirements.
The device combines proven dust sampling methods with modern technology for operation and flow control. The flat-filter cassettes simplify day-to-day use and also ensure safe transport or shipment to the laboratory, for example for subsequent gravimetric and analytical evaluation.
A key feature of the VC 25 JI is its robust flow meter, specially manufactured for JUNG Instruments, combined with user-friendly electronics. The flow rate is precisely regulated to 22.5 m³/h and, according to JUNG Instruments, remains constant regardless of ambient temperature or flow resistance. This supports reproducible measurement conditions, even in demanding industrial environments.
In addition, self-diagnostic software continuously monitors the condition of the filters. Any faults are displayed on the integrated LCD screen, for example when a filter is blocked or defective. For many companies, it is also important that existing accessories from older Stroehlein systems, such as dust sampling heads, remain compatible with the VC 25 JI. This simplifies the transition to a new system while protecting existing investments.
